Debra Mcdonald

Debra McDonald, 71, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024. The family will have a private service and she will be laid to rest at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

Debra was born on June 5, 1953, to the late Randle and Lola McDonald, in Macon, Georgia. She graduated from Southwest in 1971.  Debra retired from Brown and Williamson where she spent her career working diligently as a machine operator.

Debra loved doing crafts and collecting treasures.  She was also a lover of animals, sharing her life with special companions such as her dogs, parrots, fish, cats, and a pet squirrel.  She looked forward to traveling to the beach where she embraced the warmth of the ocean breeze, sticking her toes in the sand, and listening to the sounds of the tide rolling in.

Debra is survived by her sisters, Renee Hartley and Pam Forbes (Darren); her nieces and nephews, Ashley Strand (John), Kyle Forbes (Jacey), and Lindsay Northenor (Bryan); and her great nieces and nephews, Wyatt, Luke, Hadley, Lola, Hayes, and Carson.
