Roy Grady Jarrell

Roy Grady Jarrell, 74, of Macon, Georgia, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024. Memorial services will be Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 2:00PM, with the Reverend Glenn Haskins officiating.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service and again after the service.

Mr. Jarrell was born in Laurens, South Carolina, on August 30, 1949, to the late Charlie and Callie Jarrell.  He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War.  Mr. Jarrell worked as a truck driver for many years for Synergy Fuel and Transport Company.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Jarrell was preceded in death by his son, Troy Jarrell; and brother, Van Williams.

Mr. Jarrell is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Nancy Jarrell; daughters, Vickie Knight (Kevin) of Kathleen, Georgia, and Kimberly Bryant of Macon; grandchildren: Raven Martinez, Hunter Martinez, Dawson Knight, Dakoda Knight, Kaleb Bryant, and Keely Bryant; siblings: Sally Howard of Tampa, Florida, Anna Belle Christenson of Orlanda, Florida, Gary Williams of Centerville, Georgia, and Debbie Land of South Carolina; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs, Daisy and Pepper.
