Angela Diane Huckaby

Angela Diane Huckaby, age 63, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025, surrounded by family after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Angela was born on April 19, 1962, in Petersburg, Virginia to the late Melvin Lee and Wanda Lee Cole. As a teenager, Angela moved to Macon, Georgia with her family where she spent the remainder of her life. Throughout her life, Angela has shown an unwavering resilience and a passion for life even during the darkest and most uncertain times. She spent the last year building a life for herself with a new apartment, filling it with everything she loved. Angela loves shopping, crafting, planting flowers and watching them grow. Most of all, Angela loved her family and friends and would be there for them even when times were challenging for herself.

Left to cherish the memories they made with Angela are her son, Bryan “Boo” Huckaby Jr. of Macon; sisters, Robin Martinez (Leo) of Phoenix, Arizona, and Karen Horton (Greg) of Macon; a very special cousin, Linda Whirley of Petersburg, Virgina; nephew, Chris Allen of Macon; and numerous friends she called family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Sardis Heard Funeral Home with Dr. Tommy Jordan officiating. Burial will be at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
