Betty Taylor Stone, 90, of Macon, Georgia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 24, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, on Monday, June 27, 2022, at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Chambless officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service. Burial will immediately follow the service at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In honor of Ms. Betty Taylor Stone, you may make contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association or to Mikado Baptist Church.
Betty was a faithful member of Mikado Baptist Church until her health kept her from attending. She was also a member of Bethesda Baptist Church for many years. Betty was employed with Robins Air Force Base and Bank of America before she retired.
Betty is survived by her children, Buddy (Paulina) Stone of Gray, Beth (Marvin) Evans of Forsyth, and Karen (Jeff) Pruitt of Daytona Beach, Florida; seven grandchildren, Alex Stone (Jessica), Jonathan Stone (Shannon), Ethan Stone, Chris Jones (Dawn), Hope Smith (Dalton Walters), Kaleigh Scobee (Chase) and Morgan Pruitt; seven great-grandchildren; her brother, Joel D. Taylor; her sister, Jackie Taylor of Fort Valley; cousins, nieces, and nephews; and her close friend, Betty Wilkerson. She is preceded in death by her parents, Minnie Elizabeth and Harley Taylor; her sister, Beverly Vincent; and her brother, Bill Taylor.
