Carolyn Cribb Carnish

Carolyn Cribb Carnish, 86, of Eatonton, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025. A visitation to honor her life will be held at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home. Immediately following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 7070 Houston Road, Macon, Georgia 31216.

Carolyn was born on July 20, 1939, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Albert and Helen Cribb. She graduated from A.L. Miller School and married Charles Carnish soon after high school. Carolyn was a very independent lady. She enjoyed staying close to home, enjoying life on the lake. Carolyn loved fishing and spending time with her friends. More than anything, she loved her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Carolyn is survived by her grandchildren, Ashlee Hubert (Melvin), Justin Chapman (Kelly), Lance Chapman (Amanda); her great-grandchildren, Landon, Bradley, Jase, Skylar, Ella, and Dani-Rae; her brother, Billy Cribb; and her nephew, Tyler. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; her daughter, Brenda Marie Lane; and her siblings, Buster Cribb and Linda Griner.
