Catherine Gail Locks

Catherine Gail Locks, 59, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023.  A private service will be held in her honor.  She will be laid to rest in Madisonville, Virginia.

Catherine was born in Richmond, Virginia, in 1964, to Mr. And Mrs. Reubin Gerald Locks.  “Cathy” was a history enthusiast and had a fascination for British culture and history.  Her love for history led her to obtain a Master’s Degree in History, where she became an adjunct teacher.  This enabled her to teach all over the country via the internet, at colleges such as Georgia Southwestern University, University of North Georgia, and Amarillo College.

She also received a second Master’s Degree in Information Technology.

She is survived by her son, Ben Locks, of Byron, Georgia; her mother, Gladys Locks, of Macon; and her sister, Susan Locks, of Macon.
