Charlotte “Anita” Venable

Charlotte “Anita” Venable, 78, of Macon, Georgia, passed away Friday, September 13, 2024,

Daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson Davis and Beulah Mae Carpenter Davis, Anita was born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 5, 1946.

Anita found her deepest joys in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid traveler, always eager to explore new places. Her love for travel was only surpassed by her devotion to her beloved family and cherished pets.

Anita will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Patty Dees of Macon; sister, Myra Davis of Atlanta; grandson, James Dees (Gilberto) of Texas; and beloved pets, Emma and Olive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Missy Belknap and Barbara Venable; and brother, Jim Davis.
