Christopher “Twin” Lee Allen, Jr., passed away tragically on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at just 19 years old. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home. A visitation will be held following the service. Christopher will always be known as a one-of-kind person and the “life of the party”. There was never a dull moment in his life, and when he set his mind to do something, there was no stopping him.
Christopher was born to and deeply loved by his parents, Christopher Allen, Sr., and Melissa Godfrey Rumney, on October 22, 2004. Christopher loved his family, especially his twin brother, Christian. He and his twin have always been inseparable. If you saw one, the other wasn’t far behind. He also loved his baby boy, Keelan, with all his heart. He was an amazing dad and proud father. Keelan loved his “DADA”. Christopher also loved the mother of his child, Ansleigh Thomas. She was Christopher’s best friend, his lover, his future wife, and the only one who held his heart for six years.
He was the first born of eight siblings: Christian Allen (his twin), Kimberly Beall, Brian Beall, Carter Allen, Rosalie Allen, Adaline Allen, and Daughtery Drew. He was also a bonus child to Jennifer (momma) and Jesse Herring.
Christopher enjoyed having a good time at the lake and being with his family. He loved going swimming, boating, and fishing. He enjoyed sports and loved anything with an engine, mostly ATVs and motorcycles. He loved being outdoors, and working in the yard, especially using equipment like chainsaws and lawn mowers.
Christopher was his own person and had his own style. He did not care whether anyone liked it or not. He was a special person and anyone who met him would fall in love with him.
“Twin” will be lovingly missed by his parents, Chris Allen, Sr. (Chelsea Wilson) and Melissa Godfrey Rumney (Nathan); his siblings; his grandparents, Deborah Stokes and Pnut Stokes, Charles Godfrey (Toni Patriaco) and Robin Martinez (Leo Sao); his uncles, Jimmy Bagley and Jamie Martinez, and Aunt Maria Martinez, all of his cousins, and his other family and friends who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Peggy and Pop Allen, and Charles & Anne Godfrey; his grandad, “Pops” Rusty Allen; his aunt, Kimberly Bagley; and his sister, Clarity Allen.
