Connie Tyner Pierce

Connie Tyner Pierce, 65, of Warner Robins, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow the service at Riverside Cemetery.

Connie worked 37 years with the Macon Police Department, serving as Detective Unit Secretary.  She loved county music, watching her favorite shows on T.V., and shopping.  She loved collecting memorabilia of Georgia Bulldogs and Coca Cola.  More than anything, she loved spending time with her family.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Christy Peavy (Christopher) of Gray, Georgia; six grandchildren: Misti Darden (Neal) of Woodstock, Georgia, Destiny Posey (Matthew) of Macon, Georgia, Alaina Peavy of Macon, Georgia, Logan Couch (Cooper) of Macon, Georgia, Joshua Peavy of Gray, Georgia, and Jacob Peavy of Gray; three great-grandchildren, Adrian Luca, Isaac Gabriel, and Chloe Grace; mother, Josephine Usher of Warner Robins, Georgia; and many nieces and nephews.

Connie was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Tyner; and sisters, Cindy Lumley, Linda Mullis, and Beverly Davis.
