Daniel John Hagan

Daniel John Hagan, 65, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026. He was born on November 28, 1960, in Amityville, New York, to Thomas Peter Hagan, Sr. and Ruth Bertha Pfieffer Hagan. He loved woodworking and could make anything out of wood. Daniel also loved to restore antiques. He was a sheet mechanic for over 30 years in New York before moving to Macon in 2017. Daniel was a collector of interesting things including dragons and skull heads. He loved his family and he will be greatly missed.

Daniel is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Carolyn Hagan; his daughters, Carolyn Maresca (Robert) of Holbrook, New York, and Melissa “Missy” Hagan (Michael Watson) of Dexter, Georgia; three grandchildren, Arianna, Zoe, and Zachary; his brother, William Hagan (Linda) and his sister-in-law, Eleanor Hagan, both of Amityville, New York; several nieces and nephews; and other family members.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
