Frances Diane Smallwood

Frances Diane Smallwood, 76, of Byron passed away on August 5, 2026. Funeral service details are forthcoming and will be announced at a later date.

Born October 30, 1949, to the late Eunice Dover and Velmon Thomas Smallwood, Ms. Smallwood was a lifelong resident of Macon and surrounding areas. She forged a career in the financial sector of the local automotive industry. Ms. Smallwood was a faithful member of Bellevue Baptist Church in Macon. She will be missed by a wealth of friends and family, who all blessed to know her.

Ms. Smallwood’s survivors include a sister, Barbara Lovett of Roswell; two brothers, Danny T. Smallwood of Byron and Donald F. Smallwood of Fort Valley.
