Gladys Louise Taylor

Gladys Louise Taylor, 79, passed away Friday, May 10, 2024.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Stone Creek Baptist Church, with the Reverends Mark Grinstead and Richard McNair officiating. The family will greet friends one hour before the service.   Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the ALS Association, www.als.org/get-involved/ways-give .

Mrs. Taylor was born on February 15, 1945.  She was the widow of Mr. Frank S. Taylor, whom she married at Stone Creek Baptist Church, where she was a lifelong member.  Mrs. Taylor was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was dedicated to her family and raised her children at Stone Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Frank S. Taylor; parents, Walter and Gladys Hortman; sister, Jean Kitchens; brother, Buddy Hortman; sister, Shirley Hortman; and sister, Carol Hortman.

Survivors include her son, Keith Taylor; daughter, Jennifer Taylor (Michael) Nicholson; grandchildren, Marcus (Kathleen) Taylor, Taylor Ann Nicholson, and Shepard Nicholson; great grandchildren, Peyton Taylor and Kade Taylor.
