James Robert "Bob" Jiles, Jr.

James Robert “Bob” Jiles, 67, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home, with Dr. Reed Crumbliss officiating. The family will greet friends for a time of visitation on Sunday evening, September 7, 2025, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Bob will be laid to rest at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Macon, Georgia.

Bob was born on April 15, 1958, in Pensacola, Florida to James Robert Jiles, Sr. and Barbara Jones Jiles. He retired from Brown and Williamson. Bob loved to grill, and he loved to watch NASCAR and the Georgia Bulldogs. He attended Bethany Baptist Church. Bob was loved and will be dearly missed.

Bob is survived by his wife, Beverly Moore Jiles; his sons, Brandon Jiles and Carman Jaquez (Maritry); his grandchildren, Delaney and Lila Jiles; and his parents-in-law, Jan and Wayne Moore. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ron Jiles.
