Jerry Emerson Connell

Jerry Emerson Connell, 68, of Macon, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020. A private service will be held Monday, November 30th, for the family at Sardis-Heard Funerals and Cremation Center.

Mr. Connell worked for and retired from the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local Union No 72 after 27 years. Mr. Connell was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy “Bunny” Connell, and his parents, Dorothy Bray and Perry Connell, and his son, Jason Connell.

Survivors: Son, Jesse Connell; sisters, Penny Connell and Sheila (Phillip) Hickman; brother, Terry (Ginger) Connell; Grandsons, Jake Higingbotham and Nick Connell, and many nieces and nephews.

He loved his family, enjoyed hand carving wooden walking sticks and listening to country music. Jerry was a generous man and leaves many memories for all who loved him.
