Johnny Harold Rozier, 73, of Macon, Georgia, passed away Friday, March 11, 2022. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Macon, Georgia. Family will greet friends on Wednesday, March 16, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home. The family requests that everyone please wear a mask at visitation.
Johnny was a proud Vietnam Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He received many awards including three Purple Hearts. He attended Willingham High School and Macon Junior College. Johnny also worked at Armstrong World Industries where he retired after twenty-eight years of service.
Johnny is survived by his loving wife of fifty-three years, Susan Johns Rozier; his children, John Gregory Rozier (Jane), and Jennifer Lynn Edwards; grandchildren, Hannah Mann (Chas), Rachel Calhoun (Johnny), Rebekah Rozier, Gabriel Edwards, Luke Edwards, and Aaron Edwards; his siblings, Mary Frances Taylor (Larry), and Eric Alton Rozier (Rhonda); beloved nieces and nephews and family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas Rozier and Mary Nell Garrett Rozier; and his siblings, Thomas Edward Rozier (Mona), Peggy White (Fred), and Candy Rozier.
