Joseph Mullis

Joseph Mullis, 55, of Byron, Georgia, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at 10:00 AM, at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home, with Father Patrick Tuttle officiating.

Joseph is survived by his sister, Victoria Mullis; his brothers, Donnie Mullis (Vonda) and James “Jimmy” Mullis; his nieces and nephews, Sterling Snellgrove, and Courtaney and Massey Mullis; his fiancé, Lorrie Self; Ms. Lorrie’s daughter, Kristi (Justin) Scardina and her grandson, Caiden Self; his special friend, Uncle Sheila; and his fur baby, Diesel.

He was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church.  He loved life and a good cup of coffee.  He loved to fish, play poker, and spend time with his family.  He was also a member of the ABATE.  He also loved spending time with his fiancé’s grandson, Caiden.
