June Avera

June Avera, 90, of Macon passed away February 22, 2021. A private graveside will be at Macon Memorial Park with the Reverend Jackson Kappenmann officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sonrise Ministries, 3378 Gray Highway, Gray, GA. 31032.

June was born June 14, 1930 to the late Leonard and Ruby Avera. She is survived by her son, Ken Kappenmann (Mary Ann); daughter, Donna Joyce (Dennis); grandchildren, Reverend Jackson Kappenmann, Elise Joyce, James Joyce and Shaun Joyce; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by two brothers, Carroll “Cork” Avera and Leonard “Bud” Avera; sister-n-laws, Ann Avera and Betty Avera.
