Kenneth "Kenny" Shedd

Kenneth “Kenny” Shedd, 80, of Macon, Georgia, passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Shiloh Cemetery, 5660 Columbus Road, Macon, Georgia.

Kenny was born on November 1, 1944, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Claude Shedd and Bertha May Pace Shedd. He proudly served his country during Vietnam by serving in the United States Army.  He worked for YKK and was a fleet driver for Enterprise.  He loved driving, working with his hands, and working on vehicles.

Kenny was a devoted father and loved his children dearly.  His children were his whole world.  He never missed anything when it came to his children.  Everything with them was celebrated.  He loved them and his grandchildren so much.  He will be missed dearly.

Kenny is survived by his children, Paul Shedd, April Avery, Brian Prestridge, and Christy Orsak; his grandchildren, Ryan Shedd, Drew Shedd, Seph Shedd, Evan Shedd, Brittany Fuller, Wesley Mcglon, Jeremy Hannah, Destiny Orsak, Austin Conner, Hailey Orsak, and Jaxon Orsak. He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude Shedd and Bertha May Shedd; his son, Mike Singleton; his wife of many years and the mother of Brian Prestridge and Christy Orsak, Jenny Prestridge; his brother, W.C. Shedd; his sister, Linda Sue Hester; the late Sharon Shedd; and the mother of his eldest children, Sylvia Hoover.
