Kody Wade Icard

Kody Wade Icard, 31, of Macon, died Saturday, May 30, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Sardis Heard Funeral Home with Deacon Rusty Yawn officiating. The family will greet friends one hour before the service. Burial will follow the service at Sardis Church Cemetery.

Kody was an artist for Fantastic Backdrops, Capital Theater, and The Hummingbird, where he shared his creativity and talent with others. He had a big heart for rescue and stray animals and found joy in hiking, attending art festivals, and traveling, especially trips to the beach at Tybee Island. His greatest passion was his Pokémon collection, and he also loved the excitement and artistry of fire twirling.

Kody is survived by his parents, Ward and Loris Icard of Macon; brother, Kalen Icard (Ramsey) of Macon; twin brother, Kory Icard of Macon; grandmother, Sharon Veal of Macon; nieces and nephews, Dalton, Olivia, and Deacon (on the way); partner Keaton Morgan; and aunt, Gennie Gaskill (Allen) of Buena Vista, Georgia. In addition, Kody is predeceased by his grandparents, Charles Veal, and Jeanette and Bobby Icard; and uncle, Jeter Icard.

Pallbearers will be James Powers, Simon Underwood, Jamie Helms, Ky Waddell, Anthony Michael, and Brandon Yawn.

Sardis Heard Funerals and Cremation Services, 6125 Houston Road, Macon GA 31216 has charge of arrangements.
