Kristina Marie Cortes

Kristina Marie Cortes, 36, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.  A visitation to honor her life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to cancer research in honor of Kristina Cortes.

Kristina was born on August 29, 1988, in Pheonix, Arizona. She married the love of her life, Steven Cortes, two years ago, although they have dated since 2018. They loved being together and spending time with their two precious daughters, Olivia and Sophia.  Kristina loved taking trips to Savannah and visiting the zoo.  She adored animals and her cats.  She also loved taking care of plants.  Kristina was a beautiful soul who will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her husband, Steven West Cortes; her daughters, Olivia Cortes and Sophia Cortes; and her mother, Mary Watanabe.
