Leigh Ann Nutt

Leigh Ann Nutt, 65, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home. The family will greet friends for a time of visitation on Wednesday evening, January 3, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Association in honor of Leigh Ann Nutt.

Leigh Ann was born in Montezuma, Georgia to the late Herman Virgil Marney and Nan Levins Marney on January 4, 1958. She was a preschool teacher for many years; but her pride and joy were her own grandchildren.  She also loved crocheting.

Leigh Ann is survived by her children, Leisha Larkin (Pat) of Cincinnati, Ohio; Alana Bateman (Greg) of Macon, Bobby Crammer (Kelly) of Macon, Jake Nutt (Hannah) of Macon, Haley Williams (Sam) of Macon, and Jenne’ Jernigan (Dakota) of Macon; her seventeen grandchildren, Leigh Ann, Joanah, Daniel, Kristen, Alyssa, Brooke, Lara, Kyli, Jace, Eli, J.W., Landon, Levi, Matthew, Hagen, Will, and Waylon; her great-grandchild, Amity; and one great-grandchild on the way.  She was the widow of John William Nutt III.
