Linda Ezelle

Linda Ezelle, 77, of Forsyth, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.  The family will greet friends at the home of Chris and Josie Ezelle on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society in honor of Ms. Linda Ezelle.

Linda was born on October 16, 1947, in Atkinson, Georgia, to the late Leroy and Thelma Morris.  She worked in the bakery at the Piggly Wiggly on Pio Nono.  Whether at home or work, Linda baked and cooked with passion, always mixing in her magical ingredient, which was love.  She also loved to garden, using her green thumb to make her yard and home beautiful.  Linda was a huge Elvis Presley fan.  She also loved her dogs and watching horror movies.  She never met a stranger and loved her family dearly. Linda will be greatly missed.

Linda is survived by her children, R. Scott Ezelle (Tammy), Christopher Neil Ezelle (Josie), Kathy Branch, Rhonda Ezelle, Red Ezelle (Angie), Wayne Ezelle, and Paula Edwards (Robbie); her nineteen grandchildren; her six great-grandchildren and one on the way; and many more loving relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Russell Ezelle, Sr.; her son, Paul Ezelle; her son-in-law, Tom Branch; and three sisters, Willoma Aeby, Helen Hinson, and Sue Hinson.
