Margaret Louise McCranie, 73, of Macon, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2023. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023, at 11:00 AM, at Liberty Church Macon Cemetery, 6511 Houston Road, Macon, Georgia 31216. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in memory of Ms. Margaret Louise McCranie.

Margaret loved to dance and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Ginny Jones of Macon, Georgia; her grandchildren, Brittany Johnson (Jeremiah), Shelby Smith (Maurice), Randall Foster Jr., Misty Spillers, Tommie Lynne Robinson, Jessie Robinson, Samantha Robinson, and Skylar Bush; her eighteen great-grandchildren; her sisters, Rosa Twilley and Sara Brown; and her longtime companion Kemp Belknap.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Lockhart Mitchell; daughter, Tracy Suzanne “Suzy” Howell; her son, Richard “Buster” Howell; her great-grandchild, Carson Meeks; and her siblings, Richard “Doty” Etheridge, James “Tadge” Etheridge, Dallas “Chick” Etheridge, Lee Etheridge, Polly Avery, Peggy Jacobs, Evie “Sister” Pease, and George “Brother” Mitchell.
