Mary Jewell Buffington

Mary Buffington, 90, of Griffin, Georgia, passed away February 12, 2022. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Griffin, Georgia.

She was an active member of her church, Tabernacle Baptist, in Macon, and she retired from Robins Air Force Base of Warner Robins. She will be greatly missed.

Mary is survived by her children, Sherry Fountain, Sharon Peacock, and Randy Buffington; grandchildren, Delaney Connell, Trevor Connell, Ronnie Hattaway, Jr., David Lee Hattaway, and Patrick Buffington; and six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Garland Buffington; and her parents, Mary Josephine and John Frank Chambers.
