Mildred Joanne Lynn

Mildred Joanne Lynn, 1944-2025, 81 years old of Macon, Ga passed away peacefully with family holding her hands on the night of July 5, 2025.

Mildred was selflessly committed to her family; ‘Nanny’ Joanne endured a difficult life but remained steadfast in her strength, faith, kindness, determination, and above all, love.

Mildred was predeceased by her parents, Samuel Simone & Mildred Edenfield, her grandmother, Emma Mary Tucker, her brothers, her husband, Harry Crosby Lynn, her children, Theodore Crosby Lynn & Mary Elisa Lynn, and beloved sister-in-law, Lucille Lynn. She is survived by her grandsons, Jeremy Beau Lynn & Murray Allen Williams, her granddaughters, Tantresse Lynn Drawhorn (Derrick), Teshia Lynn Tolbert (David), Heather Lynn Nasworthy (Drew), and Alexis Hicks (Great granddaughter) and 14 additional great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to acknowledge the incredible skilled care and genuine love shown to Nanny Joanne by the Brightmoor Hospice staff in Macon, Ga.

Mildred will be laid to rest in the Simone family plot at historic Rose Hill Cemetery in a private family service.
