Milton Brinson Bedgood

Milton Brinson Bedgood, 85, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home.  The family will greet friends for a time of visitation one hour prior to service.  Burial will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Macon, Georgia.

Milton was born in Swainsboro, Georgia, on January 23, 1938, to the Late Edgar Gray and Mary Brinson Bedgood.  He served on the Macon Police Department as Sergeant of the Traffic Division for over sixteen years.  He also would drive for R.F Truesdale Trucking Company.  Milton loved the outdoors and could make any yard beautiful.

Milton is survived by his wife, Mary Bedgood; his children, Teresa Todd (Wayne) and Keith Bedgood; his sister, Brenda Fulford (Joe); his sister-in-law, Cheryl Bedgood Summerall (Tommy); his nieces, Vicki Williams (Mike), Jennifer Miller (Shane), and Heather Bedgood; and his nephews, Jimmy Bedgood (Amber), Lacy Webb, Daniel Fulford and Jody Fulford. He is preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Martha Ann Bedgood Evanovich and Bunny Bedgood Webb; and his brother, James Edgar Bedgood, Sr.
