Nancy Ann Sisinni

1962 — March 5, 2026

Nancy Ann Sisinni, 64, passed away suddenly in her home in Macon, Georgia, on March 5, 2026, with her loving and heartbroken husband, Peter, by her side.

Nancy was born in 1962 at the USN Hospital in San Diego, California, on Coronado Island, to Nora Kimsey and Gene Johnson. She was a woman of tremendous courage and great humility. Her husband, who knew her best, declared her "the best person I have ever known." She was truly a great spirit who brought light to everyone she encountered.

A woman of many talents and exceptional business acumen, Nancy managed her family’s real estate properties and expertly handled many family moves. She was also a proud and dedicated nurse, holding her nursing certificate in high regard and spending many years serving others through her work in home health care and the insurance industry. Her career and her business leadership were professional extensions of her naturally giving heart and capable mind.

Nancy was a gifted artist who worked beautifully in clay, acrylics, and watercolors. She created many unique and stunning pieces that are now treasured by the friends and family members she routinely gifted with them. Her art remains displayed prominently in the home she shared with her husband, a testament to her vision. A beloved attendee of the WildAcres Art campus in the Smoky Mountains, Nancy had a deep passion for travel, exploring the American West, the majesty of the Smokies and West Virginia, and the beaches of both the Gulf and the East Coast. She was an adventurous soul who found joy in horseback riding and once shared the magical experience of swimming with manatees.

Above all, Nancy was a courageous soul who put tremendous effort into maintaining the relationships she knew to be important. She was the cornerstone of her family, instrumental in the care of numerous loved ones who suffered and passed from illnesses. Whenever there was a need, Nancy was there.

Nancy’s passing is a tremendous loss to her family and her many friends in the art community. Taken too soon, the grace, courage, and beauty she brought into the world through her nursing, her art, and her selfless care for others will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her husband, Peter Sisinni of Macon, Georgia; her two sons, Paul and David Parmarter, both of New York; her grandson, Tristan of Tallahassee, Florida; and her three sisters, Carla Jean Riding of Macon, Georgia, Shelli Cooper of Tennessee, and Dani Johnson of Key West, Florida. She also leaves behind the large Till family of North Carolina, headed by her cousins Reggie and Lisa Till.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Nora Kimsey, and her father, Gene Johnson; her beloved stepfather, Eugene "Pop" Boggs; her brother, Butch; her aunt, Sondra Till; and her brother-in-law, Chris Sisinni.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation and service to honor Nancy's legacy on May 12, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sardis-Heard Funeral and Cremation Services, 6125 Houston Road, Macon, GA 31216.
