Pete Nicholas

With sadness yet hope in Christ’s Resurrection, we share that Nick Panteleimon “Pete” Nicholas, 78, fell asleep in the Lord on Monday, November 2nd, 2026.

The Funeral will be on Monday, November 9th, the Feast day of St. Nektarios of Aegina, at 9am at Hart’s Mortuary and Cremation Center, 765 Cherry Street, Macon, Georgia with Rev. Fr. Theodore Ehmer officiating. Interment will be immediately following at Riverside Cemetery. After Pete’s 40 day memorial on December 6 at Holy Cross, a Makaria (mercy meal) will be enjoyed together. Memorial donations in Pete’s memory to assist with the funeral arrangements may be directed to Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church.
