Norman R. Dodds

Mr. Norman R. Dodds, 85, of Macon, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024. Funeral services will be at the Barn at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home, Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 12:00PM, with Thomas "Tog" Goss officiating.  Entombment at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum will follow the service.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.

Norman was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Edward and Alberta Dodds.  He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force.  Norman worked as a supervisor with Brown and Williamson for over 32 years and was a member of the Sunset Masonic Lodge# 915 for 55 years.

In addition to his parents, Norman is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Mary Ann Dodds; great-grandson, Skylar Dodds and his sister, Judith A. Dodds.  He is survived by his children, William R. Dodds of Boise, Idaho, Tammy Wojcik (Michael) of Johns Creek, Georgia, and Saundra Thomas (Roger) of Fort Valley; grandchildren, Stephen Wojcik, Spencer Wojcik, Emily Dodds, Isaiah Dodds, Dylan Thomas, and Dominic Thomas; great-grandchildren, Roxie Dodds and J.J.; and many nieces.
