Ricky "Action Jackson" Jackson

Ricky “Action Jackson” Jackson, 66, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 PM, on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 7070 Houston Road, Macon, Georgia 31216, with Pastor Phil Skelton officiating.

Ricky was born on December 25, 1958, in Macon, Georgia to the late Charles Newell Jackson and Shirley Jean Davis Jackson. Ricky was a graduate of River North Academy. He excelled in football, basketball, and baseball. Ricky was a member of Lawrence Drive Baptist Church. His first loves were God and his family. Ricky will be greatly missed.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Melinda Jackson of Macon; four children: Crystal Whitaker (Blake) of Gray, Kendell Jackson (Kyle Lumley) of Gray, Chase Snider (Lacy) of Milledgeville, and Haley Angles (Logan) of Irwinton; six grandchildren: Micah Schlette, Brooklynn Whitaker, Kaisley Lumley, Ava Angles, Blakely Whitaker, Knox Angles, and one on the way, Karlie Lumley; sister, Sheila Perkins of Macon; and loving dog, Momo.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Charlotte Byrd.
