Robert "Bud" Wilson

Robert “Bud” Wilson, 71, passed away on September 8, 2024. A visitation will be held at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home on Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM.

Robert was born in Macon, Ga to the late Holmes and Fredia Wilson. He was a retired plant engineer for Graphic Packing, where he has worked since he was 18 years old. Robert was a devoted father and loved spending time with his family and friends.

Robert is survived by his children, Robby Wilson, Russell (Kayla) Minix and Jennifer Wilson; grandchildren, Austin, Alyssa, Andrea and Mackenzie; multiple great grandchildren; siblings, Betty, Jack, Shelia and Margie; life partner, Phyliss Wilson; and extended family and friends.
