Ronald Taylor

Ronald Taylor, 82, of Lizella, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM, on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home, with Pastor Butch Mullis, Dr. Paul Meadows, Reverend Micah Carr and Mr. Robert Gritware officiating.  Family will greet friends for visitation one hour prior to service.

Ronald was born on August 12, 1942, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Henry Willard and Addy Lucille Greene Taylor.  He was the last of thirteen children, six boys and seven girls.

Ronald is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Bonnie Lanell Taylor; his children, Ronald “Eddie” Taylor, James Buckley “Jimbuck” Taylor, Mildred “Dianne” Taylor, and Jerry Gene Taylor; his thirty-two grandchildren; his twenty-one great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.  He also has many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends that will miss Ronald. He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Katherine Hope Ragan, and his son, Rodney Taylor.
