Rusty Boone "Pops" Allen

Rusty Boone “Pops” Allen, 55, of Macon, died Friday, October 7, 2022.  Memorial services will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, October 16, 2022, at Sardis Heard Funeral Home.  The family will greet friends following the service.

Born in Macon, Mr. Allen was the son of the late Bubba and Peggy Allen. He is predeceased by his brother, Andy Bustos. A graduate of Southwest High School, Mr. Allen was a longtime paint contractor in middle Georgia.

Mr. Allen is survived by two sons, Christopher Allen of Macon, and Andrew Gabriel Allen of Virginia; five grandchildren, Christopher Allen, Christian Allen, Carter Lane Allen, Rosalie Allen, and Adaline Allen; one great grandchild on the way; brother, Tony Bustos of Oregon; three nephews, Bryan Huckaby, Brayton Bustos, and Austin Bustos; and former daughter-in-law, Melissa Godfrey.

Sardis Heard Funerals and Cremation Center, 6125 Houston Road, Macon, GA 31216, has charge of arrangements.
