Ryan Michael Earwood

January 1, 1985 — April 12, 2021

Macon

Ryan Michael Earwood, 36, of Macon, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021. A simple memorial visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00pm, Friday, April 16, 2021 at Sardis-Heard Funerals and Cremation Center.

Ryan was born on New Year’s Day, 1985.  He was a sweet and rambunctious little boy who loved dinosaurs, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and WWF’s, The Ultimate Warrior.  He and his childhood best friend would watch a WWF event with infinite enthusiasm.  He loved playing football with his teenage friends.  He grew up to be a diehard Falcons fan.  He loved composing music on his computer.  Ryan was a kind soul with a big heart for those he loved. In 2016, he became a dad to Caleb Elijah, the utter light of his life.  He lived every day for him and was a doting, loving father.

Addiction was a struggle in which Ryan fought, and fought hard.   The demon of addiction was too much during the trying times of living through a pandemic. The Lord decided his time of anguish and suffering had come to end and he called him home so Ryan would be free from the pain of his disease.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bonnie and Bob Romaine, Ray Earwood and Joanne Womack, as well as his brother, Tarl Adrian Earwood. Left to cherish his memories are his son, Caleb Elijah and Caleb’s mother, Tomeka Crawford of Macon, Georgia; mother and stepfather, Debi and John W. Richards, II of Warner Robins, Georgia; father and stepmother, Mike and Wendy Earwood of Perry, Georgia; sisters, Jennifer Orenstein Knowles (Jason) of Macon, Georgia, Julie Winslette Grindstaff (Jaime) of Elk Park, North Carolina and Kristy Earwood Vanderwarker, of Macon, Georgia; niece, Sarah Vanderwarker of Atlanta, Georgia; nephew, Jacob Orenstein of Macon, Georgia; grandmother, Kay Romaine of Tampa, Florida, and uncle, Jeff Romaine (Diane) of Wellington, Florida.
