Sandra "Sandy" Zweily

Sandra “Sandy” Zweily, 79, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 6:00 PM, at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home, with Reverend Wayne Lenderman officiating.  A reception will follow the service.

Sandy was born on March 28, 1946, in Birmingham, Alabama, to the late James Leslie and Betty Delores Adams.  She was a lifelong merchant and crafter, and she loved gardening.  Sandy loved her family, and she will be missed dearly.

Sandy is survived by her children, Alicia Slater of Macon, and Shelby Pringle of New Philadelphia, Ohio; her grandchildren, Brice Haring, Shawn Haring, Niki Davis, Chris Jackson, Dustin Pringle, Ben Pringle, and Jenna Fisher; her nineteen great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and her sisters, Margaret Ellen Towels of Greenville, Alabama, Cele Lister (Guy) and Trellie Gay, both of Macon.  She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Zweily; and her siblings, Horace Avery, Terry Avery, Gary Wayne Adams, and Mary Twilley.
