Sara Plunkett Rogers

Sara Plunkett Rogers, 86, of Musella, Georgia, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, October 2, 2022.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at 11:30 AM, at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home, with the Reverend Rob Kestler officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service.  Burial will be private. Sara was born to parents, Earnest and Carrie Plunkett, on August 12, 1936, in Macon, Georgia. Sara was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was an active member of Journey Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Donald Emory Rogers; her daughter, Michelle Smith (Marty); two grandsons, Ryan Smith (Selma) and Marc Smith (Christy); one great-grandchild, Elena Smith; and two nieces and five nephews.
