Tommy was born on November 29, 1943, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Robert Lee and Martha Jane McCoy. He graduated from Lanier High School in 1962 and was a truck driver for Yellow Freight Company for twenty-eight years. Tommy never met a stranger and loved helping people. His smile lit up any room he walked into. He loved to hunt and fish, and he also loved classic cars, especially the Ford Mustang. Tommy loved his children and grandchildren. He would love to watch Swamp People and Bluey with them. Tommy also loved a good meal and anything with Hot Sauce. Some of his favorite restaurants were NuWay, Johnny V’s and anywhere he could get good fried chicken. Tommy always made the holidays special too. He will be greatly missed.
