Wyline T. Howell

Wyline T. Howell, 97, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 7070 Houston Road, Macon, Georgia.  Pastor Kenny Hamm will officiate. Contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in honor of Ms. Wyline T. Howell.

Ms. Wyline was born on October 1, 1927, in Montrose, Georgia, to the late John and Minnie Thompson. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was admired and inspired by anyone who met her.  She will always be remembered for her strong Christian faith. Ms. Wyline will be greatly missed.

Ms. Wyline is survived by her children, Patricia Stegall (her husband, Chuck, who was like a son to Ms. Wyline, passed in 2021), Gary Howell (Pam), and Kenneth Howell (Nancy); her seven grandchildren; her ten great grandchildren; her three great great grandchildren; and her sisters, Betty Butler and Mary Newby.  She is predeceased in death by her parents and her husband, Leonard Howell; and her siblings, Ivaline Lord and Lawton Thompson.
