Alison Alderman

Alison Alderman was born in Macon, Georgia on May 20th, 1993. She grew up on Lokchapee Drive with her mother, father, and brother. She attended McKibben Lane Elementary, Howard Middle School, and the Jones County Nineth Grade Academy.  After the death of her parents, she moved with her brother to North Macon and attended Woodfield Academy High School where she was the 2013 salutatorian. She attended Georgia Military College in Warner Robins. She worked at Anderson, Walker, & Reichert LLP as a secretary and receptionist. She was interested in becoming an aesthetician, skincare specialist, and voice actor. 

 Alison was very kind and generous. She had many close friends online around the world. They described Alison as a spark of joy, sympathetic, supportive, and thoughtful. She helped them get through tough times. She was much like her mother in that regard. Alison cherished her friends endlessly.  

Alison passed away on March 23, 2023 after a short, very unexpected illness. 

Alison was preceded in death by her mother, Dr. Amelia Anne Alderman; Grandfather, Dr. Louis C. Alderman, Jr. of Cochran; and Grandmother, Anne Whipple Alderman Murphey of Macon. Alison is survived by her brother, Adrian Alderman; Aunts and Uncles: Amy and Jonathan Alderman (Macon), Sheryl and Fielding Alderman (Lilburn), Trish and Louis Alderman, III (Big Canoe); Great Aunt, Dr.  Harriett Whipple (Milledgeville) and Great Aunt and Uncle: Nona and Bennett Whipple (Sandy Springs), and lots of Alderman and Whipple cousins. 

An informal Celebration of Life where family can be greeted will be held at The Barn at Sardis-Heard Funerals, 6125 Houston Road in Macon on Saturday May 20th at 3:30 p.m.  Alison would want attendees to dress comfortably.
