Betty June Hartley

Betty June Hartley, 89, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021.  

Betty owned and operated several restaurants, and was known for her amazing cooking.  Her delicious food was not her only talent, she also enjoyed helping her husband with his sheet rock business, and showing her creativity with making beautiful flower arrangements.  More than anything, Betty loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she spoiled them rotten!  Some would jokingly say that she loved her coffee as much as her grandkids. 

Betty will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Debbie Collins; grandchildren, Christopher Collins (Rebecca), and Todd Collins (Michelle); great-grandchildren, Allyson Collins, Kami Collins, Hunter Collins, Jeremiah Jackson, and Bryn Jackson.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Hartley; parents, Charlie Lee McKnight and Cogie Lee (McCullough) McKnight; and son, Bruce Hartley. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Betty’s honor to the American Heart Association.
