Christopher Everette Bernstein, 61, of Warner Robins, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home with the Reverend David Miller officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VFW, Processing Center, P.O. Box 8958, Topeka, KS 66608-8958.
Chris is survived by his sister, Sharon Bernstein Griggs; adopted family member, Lisa Lawrence of Macon, and her daughter, Lilani Collins; and girlfriend, Regina Mullins.
Chris attended Berry Academy, class of 1978. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, retiring from Robins Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic after 39 years of service. He was a member of VFW Post 6605 in Warner Robins. He was recognized by the Warner Robins Police Department for keeping Corder Road clean. Chris loved visiting Las Vegas, and the beach, including Panama City Beach, Pensacola, and Daytona Beach.
