David E. Walker

David E. Walker, 53, of Macon, Georgia, died Saturday morning November 19, 2022, from a sudden cardiac event. He was born in Jacksonville, FL, graduated from Central High school in Macon, GA, and attended Macon State College. His passion was music and he was vocalist in a band for over 35 years-the last 30 in the band Echospeed. Many knew David from his time working in movie theaters in Macon. For the last nine years he was employed with L.H. Thomson Precision Manufacturing in the accounting department.

David was a kind, compassionate friend, neighbor, and son. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Walker, and sister, Ellen Hartman. He is survived by aunts Beth Tripp of Macon and Margaret Woods of Jacksonville; brother-in-law Leonard Hartman, and niece, Sarah Hartman, of Cuba, AL; many cousins and father Ed Walker of Hattiesburg, MS.

A memorial service and visitation will be on Saturday, December 10, 2022,  at 10:00 am at Mulberry Street United Methodist Church in the Fellowship Hall. Enter through the atrium from the Walnut Street Lane.
