Donald Anderson, 48, of Centerville, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of Wednesday, June 29, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home with the Reverend Phil Faraone officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the United Way of Central Georgia, in honor of Donald Eugene Anderson.
“D” will be missed by all who knew him. He was known as “Dirty Don” to many, “D” to others, and was larger than life. He went to Northside High School and married Nichole Rock in 2016. He worked for Geico Insurance Company for 10 years. “D” was also a professional wrestler for twenty-two years and was inducted into the Georgia Stranglehold Championship Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2020. He loved his roses, nature, and spending time in the woods. He enjoyed putting on his camo to go hog-hunting and going to his special fishing spot at Lake Blackshear.
Donald is survived by his wife, Nichole Anderson; his parents, Joann and James Anderson; his children: Brent Anderson of Warner Robins; Savannah Anderson of Warner Robins; Mollie Gillen of Marshalltown, Iowa; Mija Anderson of Warner Robins; Maggie Anderson of Warner Robins; Zackery Eggers of Clinton, Iowa; Zoey Eggers of Warner Robins; and Morgan Absher of Killeen, Texas; his grandchildren, Brentley Smith of Killeen, Texas; Triton Absher of Killeen, Texas; Amberlin Balot of Marshalltown, Iowa; and Winter Balot of Marshalltown, Iowa; his brother, James Adam Greathouse of Centerville; and numerous aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Emory and Ruth (Brewer) Ray, Johnny and Pat (Howell) Anderson, and Warren and Carrie Bell (Connell) Tucker.
