Dr. Iris Torres Crews

Dr. Iris Torres Crews, of Macon, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 26, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 10:00 AM, at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home.  A reception will immediately follow the service.   

Dr. Iris Crews took pride in her career as a School Psychologist in the Bibb County School System.  She helped shape the lives of many children and adolescents in her lifetime. Her hobbies include traveling, cooking, and reading.  

She is survived by her sister, Alice Torres of Paterson, New Jersey; her nephews, Colin Crews of California, and Christopher Crews (Linda) from Irondale, Alabama; and numerous cousins and friends including Elizabeth Josie Ezelle and Donna Medlin.   She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Bee Crews and her precious furbabies.
