Elouise Jackson Bowman

Elouise Jackson Bowman, 83, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023.  Family will greet family and friends on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Sardis-Heard as well.  Burial will immediately follow services at Macon Memorial Park, 3969 Mercer University Drive, Macon, Georgia. Ms. Elouise was born in Miami, Florida, to the late Carl Hampton Jackson and Frances Foreman Jackson.  She graduated in 1957, from Sandersville High School and played defense on the basketball team. She loved traveling and her favorite vacation spot was Daytona Beach. She also loved her poodles.  Ms. Elouise was a member of Lizella Baptist Church.  She retired from Warner Robins Air Force Base after thirty-plus years of service.
She is survived by her children, Karen Foskey of Dahlonega, Georgia; and David Foskey of Macon, Georgia; her grandchildren, Christy Winn (Larry) of Marietta, Georgia; Cherie Waller (Derrick) of Sandersville, Georgia; Matt Poff (Jo Jo) of Macon, Georgia; her great-grandchildren, Collin Waller, Cale Waller, and Rowen Poff; her siblings, Lamar Jackson (Janet) of Riddleville, Georgia; and Ralph Jackson (Rachel) of Sandersville, Georgia.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Mack E. Bowman; her son, Charles Foskey, and her grandson, CJ Foskey.
