Ernest Jones

Ernest Jones, 56, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home, with the Reverend Jack Osburn officiating.  Family will greet friends for a time of visitation on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sardis-Heard.  Burial will be at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens following the service on Thursday.
Mr. Jones loved hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, hanging out in his pool room, and spending time with his grandchildren.  
Mr. Jones is survived by his mother, Patsy Jones; his daughter, Jenna Flynn (Matt); his grandchildren, Kennedy Smith, Kaeden Smith, Harrison Flynn, Madison Flynn; his fiancé and her family, Deborah Childs, Melissa Godfrey, Jimmy Bagley; Brian Beall, Kimberly Beall, Christopher and Christian Allen, and Keelan Allen; his brother, W.C. Jones, Jr.; his niece, Lindsey Davis (Chris); his nephew, Michael Jones; his aunt, Shirley Peaster Weekley; great nieces and nephews, Aubrey, Alaina, and Addie; his beloved pet, “Dexter”.  He is preceded in death by his father, W.C. Jones, Sr.
