Evelyn White Remor, 94, of Macon, Georgia, passed away September 5, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Riverside Cemetery, Macon, Georgia.
Evelyn was born on March 13, 1927 in Macon, Georgia to Thelma and Mosell Murphy. She married William Lester White Jr. and they had two wonderful children, Andrea White and William Lester White III. When her husband sadly passed away, she remarried to Ernest Remor and they were blessed with fourteen years of marriage until he passed away in 1980.
Evelyn was known for her love for family; but also, as a very wise entrepreneur. She was the owner of Sunshine Bar and Grill on Forsyth Street, and the owner of Lynn’s Industrial Catering. She also worked at the Middle Georgia Law Enforcement Training Center for twenty years and retired in 2002.
Evelyn was a loving wife, loving mother and grandmother, as well as a great grandmother. Her “grands” meant everything to her.
She is survived by her son, William Lester White III (Carmen) and her daughter, Andrea White; her grandchildren, William Lester White IV, Benjamin Kyle Morgan (Lauren), James Curtis Morgan III (Kati), Diana White (James), and Bradley Vandenberg (Amanda); and ten precious great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her first husband, William Lester White III, and her second husband, Ernest Remor.
