Katherine Elizabeth Seals

Katherine ELizabeth Seals, 73, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021.  The family will greet friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Sardis-Heard Funeral Home Barn. 

Katherine was born in Geneva, Alabama, to the late Ramsey Jordan and Mary Frances Ezell Jordan.  She moved to Macon in 1964, and then to Charleston, South Carolina in 1970.  She worked as the restaurant manager at the Holiday Inn Riverview in Charleston, where she retired from in 1995.  Katherine loved her family, and she loved cooking.  She was famous for chicken and dumplings.   

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Dion Goblet (Vickie), of Byron,Georgia and Darlene Wood (Ronnie), of Macon, Georgia; grandchildren, Charlie Moore (Emily), Shane Peacock (Janna), Ashley Moore (Colby), and Daniel Goblet; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Katelyn, Jackson, Cypress, Sparrow, and Jovee; sister, Jeannie Hall; and several nieces and nephews. 

Sardis-Heard Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6125 Houston Road, Macon, GA 31216 has charge of the arrangements.
