Kathy G. Slaughter

Kathy G. Slaughter, 66, of Macon, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022, at 12:00 PM, at Liberty Church Macon, 6511 Houston Road, Macon, Georgia, with the Reverend Jack Osburn officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service.  Burial will be immediately follow the service at the church cemetery. 

Kathy was born in 1956, and grew up in Warner Robins, Georgia.  She was a Warner Robins High School graduate.  She met “Cy” Slaughter when she was sixteen, and they married on August 5, 1973.  She worked at Robins Air Force Base Security Forces for thirty-two years. She was a member of Liberty Church.  Kathy was a beautiful soul who loved her family with all her heart, especially her grandchildren. She loved shopping, traveling, and taking cruises with her family. She will be greatly missed.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Cyrus Miller Slaughter III; her daughters Jackie Elaine Gladin (Christopher) of Lizella, Georgia; Lashonda M. Slaughter-Wilson (Adam) of Warner Robins, Georgia; her grandchildren, Heidi Marie Gladin of Lizella, and Aiden Brann Wilson of Warner Robins; her brother Rusty Gaultney (Brenda) of Warner Robins; and her nieces.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Owen Russell and Sara Elizabeth Gaultney; her brother, Tony Gaultney; her sister, Patsy Adams; and her grandchild, Anna Elizabeth Wilson.
