Malcolm T. Honeycutt, 60, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023. Services will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 2:00 PM, at Sardis-Heard Funeral Home with the Dr. Charles Michael Blizzard and Reverend Currie Dail officiating. Family will greet family and friends for a time of visitation after the service. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Cornerstone Baptist Church, P.O. Malcolm was known as a “people-person” and never met a stranger. He graduated from Southwest High School. He loved playing the guitar, playing golf, fishing, and he loved being outdoors. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church at the Cupola. He worked as a truck driver, with his last job being at Averitt Trucking. He loved driving, and anyone that knew him would say he could drive anything, whether it be a semi-truck, excavator, Bobcat, or a forklift.
He is survived by his mother, Laura Honeycutt of Macon; his two daughters, Logan Mahoney (Brandon) of Macon, and Taylor Martin (Richard) of Gray; his grandson, Maverick Mahoney; and his brother-in-law, Bruce Shepard (Lisa) of Macon. He is preceded in death by his father, Walter E. Honeycutt, Jr.; his sisters, Yalinda Honeycutt Shepard and Shannon Honeycutt; and his brother, Walter Honeycutt III.
